Dr Mark Tyler

MB, BS (London), MRCGP, DCH

Partner: Qualifying in 1987 at Guy’s Hospital, Dr Tyler joined our surgery in 1993.  His special interests are diabetes and gastroenterology. Dr Tyler practices at the Parkside Surgery.

Dr Rebekah Dowdy

MB, BS (London), MRCGP, DCHMBBS, MRCGP, DRCOG

Partner: Qualifying in 2002 at St Bart’s and the Royal London Hospitals, Dr Dowdy joined our practice in 2006.  Her special interests include women’s and child health care and palliative care. She practices at the Parkside surgery.

Dr Laurence Crutchlow

BSc, MBBS, DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP

Partner: Dr Crutchlow qualified from King’s College, London in 2002 and joined the practice in 2009. His variety of interests includes education, medical ethics, children’s health and chronic disease management. He also supports medical students through his work with the Christian Medical Fellowship.  He is based at our Gander Green Lane surgery.

Dr Philip Jacobs

MB Bch, MRCGP

Partner: Dr Jacobs qualified in Cardiff in 1999 and joined the practice as a salaried GP in 2011, becoming a partner in April 2014. His interests include substance misuse and palliative care. He lives locally with his family, enjoys running and playing golf and is involved with Cheam Baptist Church. He is based at the Gander Green Lane surgery.

Dr Nidhi Sharma

MBBS DRCOG DFSRH MRCGP

Partner: Dr Sharma qualified from Imperial College, London in 2009, and joined the practice as a salaried GP in 2014 and became a partner in 2020. She has an interest in women’s health and family planning. She lives locally with her family and enjoys yoga and Pilates.

Dr Sopika Jayakumar

MBChB, MRCGP, DCH, PgDip in Clinical Dermatology

Partner: Dr Jayakumar qualified from Leicester University in 2013. She completed her GP training at St Helier Hospital in 2018, completed the diploma in clinical dermatology at Queen Mary University in 2020/21 and was awarded distinction.  She joined the partnership in 2020. Her specialist interests include dermatology, children’s health and diabetes.  She practices at the Parkside branch.

Salaried GPs

We have several excellent GPs who also work for the practice on a regular (sometimes part-time) basis.  They can be consulted by both Parkside and Gander Green Lane patients as they hold surgeries at both sites.

GP Registrars

Doctors who have been trained in hospital and are now specialising in General practice, join our practice for a year.  They are fully qualified doctors.

Locum Doctors

Fully qualified GPs who work for us on a part time basis during busy periods or to cover holidays, study or maternity leave.
