If you are eligible, we urge you to have a flu vaccination.
Flu appointments are available NOW for our flu clinic at Cheam Baptist Church on Monday 5th, Weds 7th, Tues 20th and Thurs 22nd October.
The quickest way to book is through the MyGP app (Phone to the surgery is possible but lines will be very busy). MyGp is bookable 4 weeks in advance.
Text invites will be sent to those eligible over coming days.
Flu vaccinations will only be given at the surgery if you are there for another matter - there will be NO flu appointments at the surgery.
If you are 50-64 years old (without a chronic condition) - you will only be eligible for a flu vaccination through the practice from November onwards and if flu vacs supplies are still available, in which case you will receive a flu invite.
When attending Cheam Baptist Church, flu vacs are by appointment only. Please arrive on time (not early). Please wear a mask and maintain social distancing. Wherever possible, please come alone, wear loose clothing, and do not bring bags.
Please do NOT attend if you are experiencing symptoms of Coronavirus.
Thank you for your understanding in these difficult times.
Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
Please note I will no longer be working at Cheam Family Practice after 9th October. Please address any emails thereafter to:
