Caring for our NHS
The NHS – is your NHS, use it well and it will serve you better.

We hold regular clinics at the surgery. Please ask for details.
Your local pharmacy is the place to go to get prescriptions and clinical advice for minor health concerns. But they do a lot more than that.
As well as helping with common illnesses - like sore throats, coughs, colds, tummy troubles and aches and pains - pharmacy teams can also help with stopping smoking, cutting down on alcohol, advice on safe sex and emergency contraception.
Doctors and staff at our surgery are committed to supporting Carers.
Help is available. Firstly we need to know that you are a Carer so that we can take this into account when caring for you.
Information available for Carers.
Statement of Fitness for Work
If you have been ill for 7 days or less you do not need to see a doctor. You can complete a Self Certification form yourself. If you are not well enough to return to work for longer than this, please ring reception and they will advise you about getting a 'not fit to work' certificate from the doctor.
We are able to provide medical examinations, or to complete forms for such things as:
- HGV Licences
- PSV Licences
- Elderly Drivers' Licences
- Insurance Claims/Medicals
- Employment Medicals
- Private certificates
A list of charges for these services is kept at the surgery
When you make an appointment for a private medical examination, we will ask you to pay a deposit of £30 which is forfeited if the appointment is not kept. The balance of the fee becomes payable at the time of the appointment.
Prayer and Spiritual Support
Each year the staff hosts a Christmas celebration to which all our patients are invited. Details of dates and times are posted in the surgery beforehand.
Cheam Healing Rooms
Offer prayer for healing, one evening a week, at a local venue. You can find out more from www.cheamhealingrooms.com
Further Information about Christian prayer.
If a patient does not speak English or uses British Sign Language we can book an interpreter. We may need some flexibility when finding an appointment and a double appointment is always recommended.
